Educating New Mexico:
- courageously and persistently empowers the people of New Mexico to voice their specific concerns about unacceptable treatment and inequitable educational opportunities of our state’s children.
- diagnoses a child’s unique situation in which they are struggling in and offers consultation for parents and families on the next steps they can take.
- bridges the gaps between organizations by helping them “connect-the-dots” between inputs and outcomes at the different levels of educational expectations through consultation and collaboration.
- offers training and presentations for schools and a wide variety of businesses and organizations on Social & Emotional Learning (SEL), positive psychology, growth mindset, mindfulness and neuroplasticity through the Choose Love Enrichment Program.
- offers training for reading assessments (Istation, curriculum-based, diagnostic) and instruction using Teach Like a Champion techniques.
- advocates, in general, for students with disabilities and special needs and connects them with further resources.
